Since retiring in 2004, Al has worked tirelessly to protect the waters of Citrus County. He is currently President of TOOFAR, an organization dedicated to protecting the environment in Citrus, Levy, Sumter and Hernando Counties and 1st Vice-President of the Citrus County Council. Al is a registered professional engineer, a retired Army officer and a retired businessman who has led many multi-million dollar projects. He is an avid outdoorsman and a practical environmentalist committed to sustainable growth.
