The Citrus County Commission has graduated the first group of residents from its new Citizen Academy.

The Citrus County Commission recently proclaimed the third week in March as Springs Awareness Week in the county. A number of the leaders of the many citizens and groups that have supported and worked on projects connected with the county's springs and associated waterways were able to be on hand.
